Ladywood constituency incorporates Birmingham city centre and includes the wards of Ladywood, Soho, Aston and Nechells. Famous landmarks include the Bullring shopping centre, Millenium Point, New Street station, The Rotunda and the Symphony Hall. Both Premier League football clubs, Aston Villa FC and Birmingham City FC are located within the constituency. Nechells Community Sports centre and Newtown Pool and Fitness Centre both serve the area. Edgbaston Reservoir in the West of the constituency is a constant hive of watersports activities. The Ladywood area is the centre of the Birmingham Arts scene. The Symphony Hall, both ikon Galleries, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Gas Hall, Custard Factory and the growing Digbeth arts scene. According to the 2001 Population Census there were 103,785 people resident in Ladywood Constituency.
